A recently fired Somerville Police officer was arrested and is presently in lock up at the Somerville police station awaiting arraignment after he was allegedly caught stealing another police officer’s firearm in the Somerville Police Station locker room.
Allegedly a search warrant was issued to search the former police officer’s home where the stolen weapon was discovered.
Allegedly the suspect was also caught on Somerville Police surveillance video wiping his fingerprints off the locker and leavening the scene.
The story is still developing………..

We are striving raise $50,000 to do building renovations that would soundproof the performance hall, allowing us to bring a wider variety of musical and theatrical events to our space. As part of this fundraising effort, we are hosting a string of benefit concerts, the second of which is on Friday, August 28th from 7:30pm-10pm and will feature the unique music of Ian Ethan Case and his 18-string acoustic double-neck guitar and the Afrobeat/funk band Opposite People.
