Greetings! We are happy to bring you a special edition of Somerville Neighborhood News featuring an exclusive interview with Somerville’s new Superintendent, Mary Skipper. Teachers are setting up their rooms, kids are buying backpacks and notebooks – it’s back to school time. Somerville’s Superintendent Mary Skipper is looking forward to the start of the the school year. She’ll be doing a lot of listening and learning, as well as sharing her experience creating and leading TechBoston Academy. She brings a breadth of experience to her new position. Get to know her in this special edition of SNN. Somerville Neighborhood News is a production of Somerville Community Access Television, made by professional journalists, volunteers and staff. The half-hour news show has as its mission to provide a lively, informative newscast focusing on the events, issues and information impacting Somerville residents.
