Search will include one-day Brick Factor build-off event and winner will be rewarded with a full-time job
SOMERVILLE (August 14, 2015)- LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston announced today their search for a new Master Model Builder. The former Master Model Builder, Ian Coffey, stepped down to pursue another career opportunity in late July after winning his position at the Brick Factor event held in January 2014. The Master Model Builder is responsible for all the LEGO® builds in the attraction including updating MINILAND®, teaching the Master Builder Academy workshops, conducting media interviews and representing LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston at events.
“Although we’re sad that Ian has left,” said David Gilmore, General Manager at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston. “We’re looking at this as an opportunity to allow another individual to experience his or her dream job.”
The multi-tiered search will be conducted August 14 through September 13, 2015. Interested applicants will have several ways to earn a spot in the one-day Brick Factor build-off event with the winner earning the title and full time position of Master Model Builder for LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston.
