I am withdrawing my consideration for endorsement from Our Revolution Somerville (ORS).  I do this in solidarity with the candidates of color who received unfair treatment and outright exclusion at recent candidates forums. Hotline to the Underground Mr. Curt and Friends + Going Track by Track with The Walkoffs

Essays by Joe Viglione

From the Kids to the Real Kids to Mr. Curt solo on Euphoria Records, the Mr. Curt catalog of music is a long and important, historic part of the New England Rock and Roll Story. His bands Pastiche and The Exis made their mark from the 1970s to the 1990s if my memory serves and somehow a couple more decades developed to the year 2021, a half a century, and welcome to his newest CD, Kernels for the Birds. Curtatone Trying To Bankrupt The Somerville General Fund On His Way Out, City Councilors Sitting On Hands

By William Tauro

I am shocked that all the expenditures which should be suspended and because they are expressly refusing to suspend any further appointments, or expenditures, and instead push through to accommodate their agenda they should be ashamed of how they are spending the taxpayers money so frivolously and any supporting Councilors should respectfully step down from their positions immediately. Help Stop Black Swallow-Wort in Somerville This Summer

The City of Somerville is partnering with community groups again this year to raise awareness about black swallow-wort (BSW), a very aggressive and invasive, non-native weed that can be found throughout Somerville. BSW displaces native plants and habitats, threatens butterflies and songbirds, and is toxic to deer and livestock. It is especially harmful to the monarch butterfly population because it resembles milkweed, where monarchs lay their eggs, and once the monarch larvae hatch, they die from eating the toxic BSW leaves. Another Night of Gunfire In Somerville

Another night of violence when shots were fired in Pennsylvania Avenue in Somerville, but never reported until today. Police found fired shell casings. Police would not comment. This is Yet another incident of gun violence in the city in recent days and weeks in the city.
Next week Councilors insist they will cut police officers nd the police budget instead of making sure the police department has enough officers to provide safety to our residents. At least two of these City officials are running for Mayor with a total disregard of the danger of what’s going on in Somerville and in your neighborhood.

I will make sure to address this issue when elected to Mayor.

Somerville Friday Night Shooting Never Reported To Residents

By William Tauro

I wonder why the Somerville Police Department nor the corrupt administration and nor the spineless city Councilors have report of this yet? What’s going on here? SOMERVILLE GOING WALKABLE ELIMINATING CUSTOMER PARKING SPACES AND DESTROYING LOCAL BUSINESSES

By William Tauro

If I can’t drive to a location in Somerville, I won’t do business in that location with that business.

Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line: Ward 7 City Councilor Ballantyne Has No Climate Priorities

Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,

Climate Priorities NOT. An eco system in West Somerville was destroyed in Ward 7 under her watch. Katjana Ballantyne allowed dozens of 100 foot mature trees to be chopped down located at 501 Mystic Valley PKWY in West Somerville THE DAY PRIOR to the tree ordinance that went into effect so that a developer could come in and build a 90 unit condo on an acre property after razing the only dwelling, a single home that currently sits on the property. Thanks to William Tauro for exposing this in his paper! Continue reading Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line: Ward 7 City Councilor Ballantyne Has No Climate Priorities

Political Charades Hazards Lurking On Mystic Ave and Beyond In Somerville

This is just one of many shady and corrupt political development addresses in Somerville. The address is 654 Mystic Avenue in Somerville and neighbors have continuously reached out to me on several occasions to “please try to do this asap…I heard the property is unsecured. By William Tauro

With the exposure of corruption allegations regarding three mayoral candidates that have recently surfaced, more disturbing news has been uncovered.

Recent allegations of corruption were revealed regarding Mayoral Candidate Mary Cassesso’s husband Peter L. Miller. Miller who is a founder and partner of Dark Horse Capital Partners, LLC is being accused of illegally takings of multiple properties along with Somerville Mayor Curtatone by eminent domain for their own personal gain.
