Congratulations to FF Sly Moore of Engine 1 Group 3 on his retirement from the SFD! After honorably serving his country as a US Marine, Sly went on to dedicate 32 years of service to the citizens of Somerville.
During that time he was awarded for his heroic efforts in saving the lives of two unconscious occupants from a 3 alarm fire at 9-11 Harvard Place on December 6, 2007. We wish Sly many happy and healthy years in his retirement!
