Funding for Mystic River Master Plan & Aquatic Invasive Species Control Included in State FY’16 Budget

BOSTON – Senator Patricia Jehlen, Representative Denise Provost, Representative Christine Barber, and Representative Tim Toomey announced that two crucial appropriations for the Mystic River were included in the legislature’s final FY 2016 Budget. Both the $250,000 requested for the Mystic River Master Plan and the $100,000 requested for the Mystic River Aquatic Invasive Species Control were fully funded for the upcoming fiscal year.

These officers received the Irish American Police Officers Association Investigative Award for my nephew Christopher Souza’s murder. If it wasn’t for them and Somerville Police Detective Katie Mcdaid and the Middkesex District Attorney’s office, we would of never gotten justice for Christopher, what he deserved and we needed.

On July 12, 2015 at approx. 9:00 PM I, along with Officer Randy Isaacs, were dispatched to Target, 180 Somerville Avenue for a reported shoplifter cutting open boxes of merchandise and hiding items in his pockets. Upon arrival Officer Isaacs and Loss Prevention Officer XXXXX were escorting a male to the Security Office. Officer Isaacs and I then did a safety pat down of the male, identified at booking as Michael Taylor, because LP Officer XXXXX observed him with a razor. Volunteers Sought to Guide Visitors at Historic Milk Row Cemetery

The City’s Historic Preservation Commission and Historic Somerville are looking for additional volunteers to open the City’s oldest burial ground, the 1804 Milk Row Cemetery, to the public one Sunday afternoon per month from 1-4 p.m., and ideally one weekday evening for two hours from June through November.

On the above time and date, I along with several units responded to 424 Norfolk Street for the report of a male that just caught a female breaking into his vehicle. Upon arrival, I along with East 1 (Ofc Vanostrand), Observed a female later identified as Robin Partee, along with the victim (XXXXX) Standing in the driveway Of 424 Norfolk Street arguing. I then pulled XXXXX aside, so that he can advise me what happened, as East 1 (Ofc Vanostrand) stayed with the female.

En route to the above location dispatch informed all responding units that one of the Suspects was fleeing the scene on Mount Vernon Street. Dispatch described the Suspect as a White male, wearing a gray T-shirt and Khaki shorts.

On Tuesday, the “Rock” was out and about signing autographs in Somerville on Broadway for fans eager to meet and greet him.

The Hollywood superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart will be filming a fight scene for the new movie “Central Intelligence” inside the On The Hill Tavern in Magoun Square.

There were over 100 fans and spectators watching the game at Trum Field. The team was coached by Stephen King as Head Coach and Cody Fitzgerald Assistant Coach. Investigators Browne and de Bethencourt received information that Stanley was at 45 Memorial Road, #11A, Somerville. Stanley was placed into custody for being a fugitive from justice. He was transported in the wagon to the Somerville Police Department and processed by Lt. McCain.
