This past Thursday night Trum Field was the place to be with live entertainment and performances by the Somerville Sunsetters, local Disco-Funk band Booty Vortex, the USO Metropolitan New York Performers, the Boston Windjammers, and “Somerville Idol,” that set the stage for a perfect summer Fourth of July week evening.
Over fifteen thousand of spectators filled the streets enjoying cotton candy, ice cream, fried dough, barbecue sausages, live music and much much more.
The icing on the cake was the spectacular fireworks display that lit up the sky over Somerville that went off at 9:15 p.m. that made the night.
