Our condolences go out to the family of Robert Anthony Gil who sadly passed away this week. Robert was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Marine corp and a very nice person who will be missed by many here in Somerville.

Father of Rebecca Gil of Somerville, Philip Gil and his wife Mary Ellen of Everett, Steven Gil and his wife Corey of West Newbury. Brother of Dorothy Lowry of Newbury, Elaine Parent and her husband Roger of Hudson, NH, Francis Gil and the late Claire DiGiambattista. Brother-in-law of John DiGiambattista, Carol Bradley, Eileen Capone, Frances Sanborn and James O’Connell. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral fron the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home, 261 Washington Street, Union Square, SOMERVILLE on Thursday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends gratefully invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Robert was employed by Ames Envelope for many years. Korean War Veteran, U.S. Marines. Interment Cambridge Cemetery.
