Somerville Elections Department Still Needs Some People
This coming Tuesday (Nov. 3) is election day here in Somerville and the Elections Department still needs some people to help work the polls. The shift is 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. with two hours off over the course of the day and workers will be paid $135. The only requirement is that you are a registered Massachusetts voter. Somerville Hair Cuttery Salon Donates Haircuts to Local Veterans in Honor of Veterans Day
This Veterans Day the Somerville Hair Cuttery salon is recognizing and giving back to former service men and women through its Share-a-Haircut program. For every adult haircut purchased on Wednesday, November 11th, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a veteran in the community. Hair Cuttery is partnering with local veterans organizations to reach those in need.
