Somerville, MA – Nearly 45 local businesses and Union Square Main Streets will merrily present the Union Square Holiday Stroll for a 5th year on Saturday, December 14 from noon-6pm.
This free, family-friendly event invites all to join in an afternoon of Union Square discovery filled with festive happenings and holiday delight. Event-goers will find:
An incredible inflatable selfie station and Festivus Trail— including a life-size hugging bear!
An outdoor warming station by CultureHouse featuring marshmallow toasting
Strolling musicians from Union Lesson Studios, WholeTone Music Academy, and Mass Whole Notes
Visits with Santa
Ornament making among other grownup and kids crafts
Multiple Holiday Popup Markets
Storefront decoration contest
Robots, dancing, treats and more!
Each participating business cranks up the jolly with special, festive offerings that make spirits merry and celebrate cultures from around the globe.
Attendees who stroll the Square and feel particularly elfie can take a selfie, share it on Instagram, tag @unionsquarems and #loveunionsquare, to be entered to win a Union Square prize package.
