Honoring the memory of Tina DeLellis, we recognize the continued good work by others in the Somerville community.

We’re very excited to be recognizing two wonderful women this year on our 30th anniversary.  
Helen Corrigan served as a Somerville alderman at large from1985 to 1995 and was on the Somerville Community Corporation’s Board of Directors from 1996 to 2008. She has also served on the boards of Cambridge-Somerville Elder Services, the Somerville Living Wage Committee, the Somerville Board of Health and most recently as President of the Trustees for the Somerville Home.
Vera Gropper has been an active and generous supporter of the Somerville Homeless Coalition for 30 years. As one of our first board members, she worked tirelessly with staff raising funds and getting donations to open and run our two shelters.
