Jimmy Roderick, the Unit A foreman at the Somerville Department of Public Works Building Maintenance Deptpartment with twenty five years on the job.
Jimmy is a lifelong Somerville resident who grew up in the Union Square Area.

A Somerville Trade School graduate who served twenty seven years of service in the United States Air Force who before his retirement from the force served one tour in Kuwait and one tour in Iraq.
Jimmy is a master electrician by trade, vice president of the SMEA, Jr Vice Commander of Dilboy post 529 and commits most of his time to the community and to many great causes here in Somerville.
He’s a great guy who always has a smile on his face and is always ready to help out.
We here at the Somerville News Weekly salute you for everything that you do to make Somerville a better place.
