The Inman Square Business Association announces Third Annual Inman Square Harvest Hoedown event on November 8.

(Cambridge, MA) The Inman Square Business Association announced their third annual Inman Square Harvest Hoedown event, set for Sunday, November 8 from 12PM to 4PM on Springfield Street in Cambridge. This event will take place rain or shine. This year’s event promises to be even bigger than last year with an increase in available tickets, a street closure and a large beer and cider garden.

The Harvest Hoedown is an event focused on celebrating the Fall season while showcasing Inman Square businesses and restaurants through their preparation of seasonally-inspired dishes. Event attendees will have the opportunity to sample dishes featuring cranberries from participating businesses such as City Girl Café, East Coast Grill and Ole Mexican Grill, and then vote on their favorites. The event will also feature live music curated by Lilypad, kids activities sponsored by Stellabella Toys, a beer and cider garden sponsored by Ole Mexican Grill, plus much more. Guests are encouraged to dress in Hoedown-themed attire such as cowboy hats, boots, plaid shirts, etc. Prizes will be awarded for best adult and child attire.

The Harvest Hoedown is open to the public, but only those with tickets will have access to sampling and voting. Tickets are $20 in advance at isbahoedown3.eventbrite.com and $25 at the door. Advance ticket purchases are recommended as only a limited number of tickets are available. Tickets include sampling from each participating restaurant and admittance to the beer and cider garden (for those 21+) for an 8 oz pour. Restaurants and vendors will also have seasonal dishes available for purchase and beer will be available for purchase for ticketed and non-ticketed attendees. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Cambridge Weekend Backpack Program, a Cambridge non-profit that sends

healthy food home to CPSD students who are food insecure.

Restaurants participating in the Hoedown include All Star Pizza Bar, Atwood’s Tavern, Bisq, Bukowski Tavern, City Girl Café, East Coast Grill, Guang Zhou Restaurant, Hop N Scotch, Lone Star Taco Bar, Ole Mexican Grill, Playska, Puritan & Co., and Tex Mex Eats. The event is sponsored by Whole Foods Somerville, Naveo Credit Union, Inman Square Hardware, Prellwitz Chilinski Associates, Stellabella Toys, Rival Marketing, East Cambridge Savings Bank, Cambridge Reality Group, Lilypad and Ole Mexican Grill.

“This year we have many new restaurants and returning favorites. It’s a great way for the community to get together, celebrate and sample the fantastic cuisine available right here in Inman Square,”commented Debbie Musnikow, President of Inman Square Business Association.
