Michael Everett “Mike” Capuano born January 9, 1952 is a very well liked and respected politician who serves as the U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’s 7th congressional district. A member of the Democratic Party, his district includes the northern three-fourths of Boston, as well as Somerville and Cambridge. The Nations Oldest Federal Aid Program Just Expired

The gross neglect by our Congress is astounding. It just let the Perkins loan program expire, making it that much harder for young people to get a college education. We need more education and less hardship, not the other way around. 540,000 students received Perkins loans last year.
