We had three relays that all placed 7th. top 8 score. We finished 15th in Division 2 with 6 points.

“I am pleasantly surprised at the improvement that we have with this very young group. Having 3 Relay Teams score was an indication that our girls are working hard to get better.”

MassDOT and the MBTA are hosting a series of public meetings to share details about noise and retaining walls proposed for segmen…ts of the Green Line Extension Project. The next meeting is Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 30 Washington St. This meeting will focus on the Inner Belt/Brickbottom/Union Square Branch.

Faithfully serving his constituents for over 25 years on the Somerville Board of Aldermen representing Ward 3, Alderman Tom Taylor decided not to seek reelection and is retiring.

Tom is a great guy and any new alderman that ever represents Ward 3 will have big shoes to fill.

City of Somerville Offices Closed Tomorrow; Public Safety Services to be Maintained

Following the Governor’s recommendation, the City of Somerville has announced that it will close all City offices on Friday, Jan. 3. Emergency and public safety services will be maintained.

Residents are asked to remain off the roads unless absolutely necessary until the storm has passed and it is safe to travel.

If you have non-emergency questions, please call 311. For emergencies, call 911. Thank you, and stay warm!
