Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,
City of Somerville Mayor… Killing Small and Minority Businesses. On July 6th, Governor Baker authorized the reopening of all gyms in MA. Local leaders in their respective cities concurred except for the mayor of Somerville, MA. Evidence shows there have been no COVID-19 outbreaks correlated with gym use in MA. While Governor’s doing attempts to make logical sense, why close small/minority businesses that have absolutely no negative impact statistically? One could argue that gyms are safer than your local grocery and department stores. Continue reading Somerville/Medford Speakup Line: Somerville Mayor… Killing Small and Minority Businesses→

Re: Noisy Abuse to the Elderly at Night
We live in a large apartment building strictly for the Elderly and the Handicapped.
At intervals, not every night, in the large bedroom right above us, there is a very active, noisy, pre-school child running around at different parts of the night, even in the middle of the night, just above our bedroom from 7pm on, just as we have gone to sleep. Dear Billy T,
RE: Jessica Turner
I sent this letter to every City Council member and the Mayor’s office but never received any response…
Do you know why Jessica Turner still holds an official role in the City of Somerville? Why did not one City Council member or the Mayor’s office not address a constituent’s concern with the respect of a response?
