Letter to the Editor:RE “Take Those Banners Down!” Its Our Buildings Not Yours!

Dear Somerville News Weekly Editor,

We are writing to you in total disgust that this mayor with this administration and the current Board of Alderman has the nerve to allow the illegally displaying of those two banners up on Somerville City Hall as up on the Somerville High School.
First, we commend you for your courage to come forward in this most liberal city in the country with that article and all the backlash you people have taken by these liberals here in Somerville regarding such.

Now its time to call out all the elected officials here in the city! Continue reading Letter to the Editor:RE “Take Those Banners Down!” Its Our Buildings Not Yours!

Letter to the Editor:Beware of Tom Reilly’s “Personal Promises” – The Politics of Murder

By Margo Nash

In a recent blog regarding my book “The Politics of Murder,” I mentioned that Mr. Reilly was dealing with two very high-profile unsolved murders at the time of Janet Downing’s murder in July, 1995. Deanna Cremins, age 17, was strangled and left in an alleyway just blocks from her house on March 30, 1995. Before that, law professor Mary Jo Krug, age 49, was stabbed to death while walking near her home in Cambridge in the late afternoon of April 4, 1991. Reilly and his CPAC team had failed to develop any suspects for these murders; in fact, they both remain unsolved to this day. It’s got a hammer-and-nail solution. Continue reading Boston Herald Radio With Mayor Joe Curtatone on Immigration

Driving people underground, making them fearful to report crimes because they or someone close to them might get rounded up for deportation ultimately puts more criminals on our streets.
