This past Monday afternoon, a Somerville Police officer was injured in a motor vehicle collision that took place on McGrath highway. 

The cruiser accident occurred on McGrath Highway in front of the Super Stop & Shop. 
The police officer and was treated at the scene and later transported to the hospital with injuries via ambulance. 

There is no word on the officer’s nor the driver of the other vehicle’s condition as of yet.
