Letter to the Editor:Only In Somerville Mayor’s Butt Gets Kissed By Department Heads

In other cities the city employees, managers and heads of departments do NOT have to kiss the Mayor’s butt. In other cities the Mayor kisses the butt of the city employees and has a duty to do so. If the Mayor doesn’t keep the employees happy then the city workers will support the new candidate and the current Mayor will lose his job. In other cities employees and managers can and do “Voice” the opinions without fear of retaliation from their current Mayor.

Why? Continue reading Letter to the Editor:Only In Somerville Mayor’s Butt Gets Kissed By Department Heads

Hi Billy and Somerville News Weekly,

My friend Richie has cancer pretty bad and we have been out of touch for a while. Well he called the other day and said he would like to get together, so we jumped at the chance. I know he follows the Somerville News so if you could put this in the paper he would love it. As sick as he is we had a lot of laughs.

Thanks,

Freedom of information act … personnel files of some current officers ….. the more corrupt the more the promotions. Deputy Paul… Sergeant Mr Small should either be in jail or fired or demoted yet rewarded. Surely some things have never made it to file since things get broomed. Who gets promoted anywhere without looking into person, especially as administrations change.
