FBI, Department of Justice Prohibits Its Employees From Interfering With Elections

By William Tauro

Let’s all just take a moment and read this article and let it sink in for minute regarding the FBI’s policies in investigating an elected official during an election openly.

The Department of Justice prohibits its employees from openly interfering with elections but it does not refrain them from continuing to move forward and gathering information while still conducting the investigation

Many of you are constantly reaching out and asking the question “Where are the FBI during all of this and how come we haven’t heard them come forward?”

This article below sums it up somewhat to make you understand more of why the FBI hasen’t possibly officially announced any sort of “Official” FBI investigations as of yet.

But after the November 7th general election that might just be a completely different story with a bigger surprise.

Local police departments do not fall into this category they have no restrictions restricting them to do so. They have the absolute authority to instantaneously conduct an investigation openly. They also have an obligation to investigate suspected thievery in a municipality by crimes being committed by city employees

FBI/Department of Justice Ruling:

“There are Justice Department policies against doing something like this so close to an election.”

The department prohibits its employees from interfering with elections. That policy generally has included being sensitive about what information is released about pending or active investigations in the days and weeks leading up to the election.
