On Thursday evening, a Special Reception/Casino Night with over two hundred friends and former staffers in attendance at an event in honor of a special lady, the Honorable Former Somerville Mayor Dorothy Kelly Gay.
The event was hosted by The Hebrew Senior Living Care Centers of Boston.
The ceremony was focused in honor of all Mayor Dorothy Gay’s lifetime accomplishments and how she during get employment with The Hebrew Senior Life before and after she was the mayor, made it a better place.
The event was held at the Dedham Country Club in Dedham MA.
The event raised over $42,000.00 for the Hebrew Senior Life Seniors and their charities!
Billy and Kate-Sea Ragusa were honored Thursday night at the BOA meeting in Somerville.
The Holiday Cleaners was a mainstay on Highland Avenue.

Lifelong Somerville residents, Salvatore and Louise Casparriello celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary at Maggiano’s in Boston Sunday, May 4, 2014. Salvatore and Louise celebrated with their six children (Erna Connors, Stella Arenz, Kathy Dodd, Danny Casparriello, Joe Casparriello, and Peter Caspariello) and their families including their seventeen grandchildren.
Sal and Louise were married May 2, 1954 at Nuttings on the Charles in Waltham.
