I find it absolutely amazing that Somerville Police Department’s Captain Cotter has scheduled his retirement for a second time (first time allegedly was last year but mysteriously withdrew the paperwork) and who was just allegedly ordered back to work immediately after an alleged bogus claim that he bumped his elbow into a file cabinet, is set to retire from the Somerville Police Department on this coming January 29th. With the start of 2019, tobacco control advocates throughout Massachusetts are celebrating. As of Dec. 31, 2018, Massachusetts became the first state in the nation to prohibit health care institutions, including pharmacies, from selling tobacco and vaping products. Thanks to legislation signed by Gov. Charlie Baker last July, these addictive products will no longer be sold in facilities that are dedicated to health and wellness – facilities that often treat illnesses and diseases caused by these very products. A park in Fort Smith Arkansas installed a swing for children in wheelchairs. Wouldn’t it be awesome if our local elected officials would look into and consider this for our parks as well here in Somerville?

Wouldn’t this be awesome? Let’s see if we can get the Somerville Lion’s Club, the Somerville Kiwanis Club and the Somerville Rotary Club to sponsor it and do a joint service project with this in Somerville!

The plate was attached to a green Chevy pick up truck. Through the query I learned that the motor vehicle was registered to XXXX of Framingham MA. The vehicle had been reported stolen on 12/28/2018. Who Murdered Charline Rosemond, 2009 Somerville Cold Case Getting Colder

On Monday April 13th, 2009 at approximately 6:30 PM Somerville Police discovered the body of 23 year old Charline Rosemond was found lifeless slumped over her steering wheel of her family’s gray Honda Civic parked behind 10 Webster Avenue in Somerville with a bullet wound to the back of her head.
