Helena Maria Camara (Amaral) of Somerville, passed away on September 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 83.

Devoted wife of the late John August Camara.
Loving mother of John Camara, Michelle Labadie, Victor Camara and his partner Marie Arena.
Cherished grandmother of Collin Labadie and his wife Rachel, Cameron Labadie, John Camara, Mariaelena Camara, Joseph Camara, Daniel Camara and his wife Kenzie, Alyssa Camara and Adrianna Camara.
Adored Great-grandmother of Addyson Camara and Raelyn Camara.

Beloved sister of Antonio Amaral, and the late Alice Martins, Daniel Amaral, and Jose Amaral.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

Funeral mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Cambridge on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Winchester.
