The Medford Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 11:15pm on Sunday, August 16, 2026, in the area of 389 Salem Street. No injuries were reported.

Police are asking residents and business owners in the surrounding area to review any available security, doorbell, or surveillance camera footage between 11:00pm and 1:00am. This includes the areas of Salem Street, Sheridan Avenue, Grant Avenue, Central Avenue, Spring Street, Morrison Park, Linwood Street, Emerald Street, and surrounding streets.

Two suspects are believed to have been involved. Both were wearing dark clothing, and one may have been wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt.
