Can my councilman tell me why every snow storm the owner of Hillside is allowed to take all the snow from thier business and pile it onto a public way? This not only creates a pedestrian, motor vehicle hazard. The residents who live in the abutting property which has an address in Medford. They have a challange entering safely onto the street which is in Somerville cannot do so without a serious compromise.

As part of the next phase of the Somerville Ave. Utility & Streetscape Improvements Project, City contractors will set up a large work zone in Union Square on or around February 19 that will require some through-traffic to be rerouted. The Pension Reserves Investment Management (PRIM) Board’s Investment Committee met to discuss why the state pension fund’s balance dropped by $4.5 billion in the fourth quarter of 2018.
