Somerville Officer Goes Above and Beyond for Resident

A FOX25 viewer wrote in to the station Tuesday to recognize a Somerville officer that went above and beyond for her daughter.
The viewer, Priscilla, said her mother and daughter had been shopping at a local drug store when it happened. Her daughter, Jessica, had wanted a toy, but Priscilla’s mother didn’t have enough money to purchase it.

The City of Somerville is eligible for a direct award of $20,004 through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) FY2015 Local Solicitation from the Office of Justice Programs of the U.S. Department of Justice.
