Somerville/Medford Remembering Charles F. Cobb

Obituary
Charles F. Cobb

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend at the age of 91.

He shared 68 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife Mary, building a life centered on love, laughter, family, and friendship. Together they raised three children Maureen Alsheimer and her longtime partner Joseph Ricciardi of North Andover, Kathy Yore of Medford, and Chuck Cobb and his wife Kimberly of Fort Myers, FLA who will forever cherish his humor and easy-going spirit

He was a proud papa to Rhiannon, Nicholas, Michael, Ashton, Matt, Christopher, Caitlin, Brendon, Ryan, Rachel, Alex and Maggie.

He was the loving great grandfather to Benjamin, McKenna, Sullivan, Ari, Ada, Wesley, Kash, Reya and Leo.

Dear brother of the late Mary Goulart, James Cobb, Ronald Cobb, Anne Papandrea and Joseph Fabiano.

He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, dear friends whose lives were brightened by his warmth and kindness.

He truly loved life and the people in it. Whether spending time in Florida at Century Village surrounded by so many wonderful friends or enjoying his summers in Wells Maine where he loved playing bocce with the guys. He found joy in simple pleasures and good company. He will be remembered for his quick wit, always joking, relaxed nature, and the ability to make others smile, he made friends wherever he went.

Calling hour will be held on Thursday, June 25th in St. Raphael Church 512 High St., Medford from 9:30AM to 10:30AM. Followed by a funeral mass at 10:30AM.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
