The City of Somerville DPW takes safety to a higher level. They just installed this saw in the shop that’s located in the Building and Grounds Maintenance Shop this week that will stop immediately if it detects contact with any skin at any time.
The city is being safety conscious for its employees and will make people speak up for them to install them for the students enrolled in the carpentry programs in the schools.
