The Somerville High Girls Track Team competed In the MIAA Division 1 State Meet held at Cawley Stadium in Lowell on Saturday May 30. Nine girls qualified for the meet and all performed very well. Junior Gabrielle Etienne earned a State Championship by winning the Shot Put with a throw of 38’0″.

SHS Girls Track GBL Results
The Somerville High Girls Track team won the GBL league meet on Wednesday May 20 at Dilboy Stadium. It is the ninth time in the last ten GBL meets. The only loss at the All-League meet was this past indoor season.

On May 11,2015, I, Officer Gravin Guillen, was in full uniform assigned to marked unit W-7 patrolling the area of Powder House Blvd, a public way in the City of Somerville. At approximately 17:18, a random query was made via the CJIS mobile computer of MA Reg# 68TL1. The operator/owner was coming back suspended in the RMV database. I activated my blue lights and sirens subsequently stopping the vehicle at 50 Powder House Blvd.
