Somerville, MA – May 18th, 2015 – The press and public are invited to visit the Boston Bead Company’s new location in Davis Square for an introduction to the area’s premier local source for unique beads, findings and jewelry-making supplies from around the world.

A Massachusetts landmark since 1991, Boston Bead Company shops are a must-visit for beaders, jewelry designers, and anyone seeking creative inspiration. As a woman owned, woman operated independent business, the atmosphere in our shops is a throwback to an era when service was as important as value. With a careful blend of the modern and tradition, Boston Bead Company offers exceptional service and commitment to quality. After nearly 25 years in Harvard Square we are thrilled to join a community of other small independent business in Davis Square.

In addition to selling beads and jewelry-making supplies we lend tools to be used at our large in-store worktables and we offer group and private classes. During the month of June, 2015 we are offering a series of $25 Project Classes (materials included) to celebrate 25 years in business. We also offer jewelry repair services, in-store beading parties for all ages, and we host trunk shows and special events regularly.
