LUCAS S NASCIMENTO Arrest

The following is a summary,
On May 11,2015, I, Officer Gravin Guillen, was in full uniform assigned to marked unit W-7 patrolling the area of Powder House Blvd, a public way in the City of Somerville. At approximately 17:18, a random query was made via the CJIS mobile computer of MA Reg# 68TL1. The operator/owner was coming back suspended in the RMV database. I activated my blue lights and sirens subsequently stopping the vehicle at 50 Powder House Blvd.

The operator was the owner of the vehicle. He was identified as Lucas Nascimento. I asked Mr. Nascimento for his license and registration. He informed me that he left his wallet back home. I told him the reason I pulled him over was for operating with a suspension license. He informed me that he knew his license was suspended but needed to drive for work. His KQ/driving history, revealed that he was pulled over last month for the same thing. He is a repeat offender of operating with a suspended license and has a long driving history.

I called for back-up due to the nature of his history. Mr. Nascimento was placed under arrest for operating after suspension. He was transported by Unit#200 and booked in the usual manner by Lt. Mulcahy. The vehicle was towed by Pat’s towing per department policy incident to arrest. Inventory of the vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia, an open unlabeled prescription bottle, and a knife. These items will be logged in for evidence and/or destruction.

Charges : 90/23E Operating after suspension Subq. Offense

Respectfully submitted,

Gravin Guillen
Patrolman #304
