14 Things from Back to the Future II That Actually Came True, and 5 That Haven’t…

20131003-073347.jpg

By William Tauro

If your a little older like me, some of you may remember these predictions from the movie “Back To The Future II.”

I remember my wonderful high school days like they were yesterday!

Growing up in and around the city streets of Cambridge and Somerville as a kid and life was good.

I distinctly Remember going to see this movie with an old junior year high school date at the old Fresh Pond Movie Theater in Cambridge.

Who would’ve thought it would’ve been reality check it out!

“What’s Come True”

“A baseball team in Miami Florida?”

“Handless and/or wireless video games”

“Our obsession with 3D movies and sequels”

“Handheld tablet computers”

“Video conferencing”

“Wall-mounted widescreen televisions”

“Being consumed with personal electronics”

“Multiple TV channels”

“Performance enhancers being a major problem in Sports”

“Compost fuel”

“Flying cars”

“Hoverboards”

“Dehydrated food”

Yet
Five years from now, Marty McFly will show up in Hill Valley to save his kids. We wanted to see just how prophetic Zemeckis was in 1989, when he designed Hill Valley: 2015. Find out after the jump!
