A nominal fee of $20. will include five, one-hour long lectures in any one subject area. Or, if you prefer to take in a variety of different subjects, each lecture we present costs $5. The SomerStreets Carnaval” took place along East Broadway this past Sunday promoting active living and reconnecting with city neighborhoods.
SomerStreets is the City of Somerville’s take on the internationally-renowned Open Streets concept that closed busy city streets to vehicles and opening them up for cycling, walking, dancing, running, and other modes of activity.

SHS Student Places 4th MIAA State Finals
Gabrielle Etienne placed 4th in the Shot Put at the MIAA State Finals on Saturday at Fitchburg State College. Gabrielle’s best throw of 38′ 4 1/2″ came on her second to last attempt. Gabrielle will represent Somerville High and Massachusetts in the New England High School Championships on Saturday June 13 at Thornton academy in Saco Maine.
