Historic Somerville’s upcoming lecture, this Sunday, June 14th, from 2-3PM at the Somerville Museum. The title of the talk is “The Art Glass of the Union Glass Company, Somerville, 1893-1927”.
The talk will be given by Kelly Conway, Curator of the Corning Museum of Glass. She lectures extensively on the history of glass and wrote her master’s thesis on the Union Glass Company. Admission for the event is $8, free to members.
The lecture is supported in part by a grant from the Somerville Arts Council. Attached you should also find a photographic image of the Union Glass Company in 1929.
