Carl Sciortino, State Representative, 34th Middlesex District (Somerville and Medford) said: “I’ve known Mark for 10 years. He would be an outstanding Alderman for Ward 5.”

Niedergang noted “I’m proud and grateful for the support of these six Somerville leaders. They have worked hard to represent our neighborhoods in Somerville, and they continue to provide great service to our city. I hope to be able to continue my service to Somerville and Ward 5 as Ward 5 Alderman.”
