Real Life Somerville Police Stories: Alisson PEREIRA (B&E Misdemeanor) East Somerville

On January 19, 2019, I was patrolling area East 1 for the Somerville Police Department. At approximately 03:00, East 4, Ofc. Ruf, and I, were dispatched to 2XX Pearl Street (XXXX), for a report of individuals inside the establishment. East 2, Ofc. Scrugli, and East 3, Ofc. Hartsgrove responded as well.

Upon arrival, I saw three males inside of the XXXX. Officers were able to enter through the front door. I asked one of the males, later identified as Alisson Pereira, what he was doing there. Pereira kept changing his story of why he was inside the XXXX, and how he knew the other two individuals. When I spoke to the other two males, later identified as two juveniles, they stated they were on their way home from the Capuano playing baseball, and as they were walking by, Pereira just let them inside.

The two juveniles were transported to their legal guardians.

Pereira was placed under arrest for c266 s16a B&E for a misdemeanor. He was transported in Unit #200 by Ofc. M. Canty to Somerville Police Headquarters where he was booked in the usual manner by Lt. DeOliveira.

Respectfully submitted,

Officer Christine Bork #327
Somerville Police Department
