Tufts expands capacity of Community Relations office with appointment of co-director

 

MEDFORD/SOMERVILLE, Mass. (August 15, 2016) Tufts University has appointed Rocco DiRico, a Medford native with extensive political and public service experience, as co-director of its Community Relations office. DiRico will join longtime director Barbara Rubel in building and maintaining relationships with Tufts’ host communities of Medford, Somerville and the Boston neighborhoods of Chinatown, the Fenway and Mission Hill. This past Saturday September 12th, the Davis Square Theatre reemerged as The Rockwell, continuing its legacy of providing a home for the region’s flourishing arts community in honor of its late owner, Somerville business leader and restaurateur Ken Kelly (The Independent, Foundry on Elm, Saloon, Brass Union, River Bar). The new incarnation of the playhouse included the name dedication, an updated look, equipment upgrades and original programming curated by the theater.
