Nina Eichner, a born and raised Somervillian, is the Special Events Manager for the Somerville Arts Council, an office of the City of Somerville. In her position she coordinates a variety of events and festivals for the City including the SomerStreets festivals, annual independence day fireworks, and a variety of arts festivals including the ArtsUnion series. Prior to working for the City Nina worked for the Barr Foundation and the City of Boston in the Arts & Special Events office. She also volunteers with The Welcome Project. Nina recieved a B.A. and M.P.A. from Clark University in Worcester, MA.
Nina is always the first one at the table to volunteer when there is a local charity is need or to assist local service club members and other worthy charitable organizations at planning successful events.
