Obituary
Jean V. Burin, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the age of 89.

Born and raised in Torbeck, Haiti, he was the son of the late Turenne Burin and Tinnelia Jean-Claude. Jean was known for his hard work and had a successful career as a barber. In 1972, he married the love of his wife the late Marie S. Burin who passed away in June of 2025 and together they raised three children, one of whom sadly passed away in infancy.

Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Marie S. Burin.

His devoted daughter and son, Marie-Ange and Joseph Fidell;

His cherished grandchildren, Landegie, Angelee, and Samuel;

His son-in-law, Paul Guerrier;
