Obituary:
Cynthia “Cyndi” Karasinski, a lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on May 5, 2025, she was 71.
Born and raised in Somerville, Cyndi was the cherished daughter of the late Virginia (Martino) and Joseph M. Karasinski. She was the beloved life partner of the late Raymond Hardy and the cherished sister of Robert “Ski” Karasinski and his wife Barbara of Somerville. Loving Aunt of Eric Karasinski and his wife Vallery of Houston, TX and their daughter Mikayla, Rita Neerbasch and her husband Steve of Rochester, NY and their children Nicolette “Niki” Gaesser and Alexander French, Alisa Cabral and her husband Patrick of Saugus and their daughter Skye. She was the cousin of Janice Grant of Wakefield.
Cyndi was an active member of the Walnut Street Center of Somerville and Medford, where she benefited greatly by the support and friendships of the staff and fellow members over the years.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Tuesday, May 13th from 11:00AM – 12:00PM followed by a graveside service held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden at 12:30PM.
