Patricia O’Neil, born, raised, and educated in Somerville, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024, at the age of 76. She was the cherished daughter of the late Hugh W. and Catherine (McGlinchey) O’Neil.

After graduating from Somerville High School, Patricia pursued her dreams and found success as a dedicated real estate agent. Her passion for helping others find their perfect homes was matched only by her warm personality and genuine care for her clients.

Outside of her career, Patricia’s life was deeply rooted in her Catholic faith. She was a devoted member of her local church in Somerville, where she could often be found attending daily Mass and actively participating in community activities. Her faith was not only a cornerstone of her life but also a guiding light that she shared generously with her family and friends.

Patricia’s love extended boundlessly to her nieces and nephews, whom she adored and treated as her own children. Their joy brought her immense happiness, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to her faith and family, Patricia had a passion for travel. She loved exploring new destinations around the world, embracing different cultures, and making lasting memories wherever she went.

Above all else, Patricia was known for her kind heart and infectious warmth. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and valued. Her friendship was a gift cherished by all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Patricia O’Neil leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her life.

Beloved sister of Margaret MacMillan of Somerville, Robert “Bobby” O’Neil and his wife Marty of Woburn and the late Dorothy “Dotty” O’Neil. Devoted and cherished aunt of Kelly Barnhill, Jennifer McKinley, Michael, Cheryl and Bobby MacMillan, Brook O’Neil and Kim O’Neil and many great nieces and nephews. Also survived by many loving friends and family members

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House SQ.) on Wednesday, July 3rd from 9:00AM to 10:30AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church 64 Warner St., Medford at 11:00AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Services will conclude with interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to St. Clement Church Rectory 71 Warner St., Medford, MA 02155.
