Kick Off PRIDE Month in Medford with Two Events on June 2nd

Flag raising at City Hall at 2:45pm, “Dinner, Drinks, & Drag” event at Carroll’s Restaurant (18+) beginning at 7pm.

More events planned throughout June.

MEDFORD – Please join Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Frances Nwajei, the Medford PRIDE Planning Committee, and the Medford High School GSA for the PRIDE flag raising at City Hall on Thursday, June 2nd in honor of Pride Month in Massachusetts.

The 2022 flag raising ceremony, which will begin at 2:45 on the City Hall lawn, will feature Gigi Gill, the “Official Gay Queen of Salem, MA,” as well as remarks by:

Mayor Lungo-Koehn
Medford High School GSA
Medford Poet Laureate Terry Carter

And more!

The PRIDE Flag will be flown from the City Hall flag pole throughout the month of June.

Continue the celebrations by joining the City and the PRIDE Planning Committee at Carroll’s Restaurant at 7pm for “Dinner, Drinks, & Drag.” This event is for anyone ages 18 and older. The event will feature performances by:
