The Lord called a true and beloved friend to Heaven this past Weekend.
Retired Cambridge Police Detective Paul Jarosiewicz passed away in his sleep on Saturday. Paul was the ultimate husband, father, and police officer.
Paul was very well liked throughout the state with many friends here in Somerville as well where he will be sadly missed.
He redefined the meaning of Community Policing and passion for justice for all. May Paul Rest In Peace.

Paul was the cousin of my ex- husband, Dr Paul A. Pladziewicz. I met him at polish picnics in high school and he went to Mass. Bay Community College with us. Always a loving, caring and thoughtful man. I saw him recently at Anna and Stanley Pladziewicz’s funerals few years ago. He never changed. He was and is the same good person he always was. My deepest sympathy and love go out to his wife; whom he loved so much and his children.
