Our condolences go out to the family of Dan Dennis Kallis, the founder of the very well known restaurant/pub that was once located at Assembly Square, “Dapper Dan’s” of Somerville.
Dan passed away this past Monday. He was a great guy and he will be sadly missed by many here in Somerville!

These officers received the Irish American Police Officers Association Investigative Award for my nephew Christopher Souza’s murder. If it wasn’t for them and Somerville Police Detective Katie Mcdaid and the Middkesex District Attorney’s office, we would of never gotten justice for Christopher, what he deserved and we needed.
On July 12, 2015 at approx. 9:00 PM I, along with Officer Randy Isaacs, were dispatched to Target, 180 Somerville Avenue for a reported shoplifter cutting open boxes of merchandise and hiding items in his pockets. Upon arrival Officer Isaacs and Loss Prevention Officer XXXXX were escorting a male to the Security Office.
