Our sincere condolences to friends and family of Jim Lennon. He will be sadly missed here In Somerville by many.
OBITUARY
Lennon, James John of Billerica, Formerly of Somerville passed away unexpectedly in his home on January 9th.
He was 57 years young.
Born and raised in Somerville to the late Anita (Serina) and Ronald Lennon. The son of a fallen Somerville Firefighter, Jim was very proud of his Somerville roots and cherished his childhood friends
Jimmy had a flare for fashion and jewelry making and he loved “styling” his friends. He loved music and dancing and singing along to Donna Summer. He looked forward to his trips to Florida and Disney and had a deep love for his friends and for his nephews Cael and Colin. Jim had a special loving bond with his mother, whom he cared for, for many years during her illness. Jim was a selfless, giving and supportive son, friend and uncle with a contagious laugh and wonderful sense of humor.
Jim dearly loved his fur-babies-4 yorkies that were siblings he adopted together because he didn’t want them to be separated. He was loyal beyond words and would give the shirt off his back, and he did just that, for many.
There will be a Celebration of Life in honor of Jim on February 19th at 5pm at TJ Callahan’s function room, 1475 Main Street in Tewksbury. Friends are welcome to attend and to donate to the GoFundMe Page established to assist with expenses at: https://gofund.me/2143bb53. All donations are welcome and appreciated. We’d like to give Jim the long over-due and proper send-off he deserves.
