Narrative
This is a summary of events that occurred on 11/23/2013 at approximately 6:34PM, I Officer Faria, along with Officer Diaz were dispatched to TJ Maxx, located at 105 Middlesex
Ave., for a shoplifter in the office with no identification.

Upon my arrival I spoke to the Loss Prevention agent and he stated the party in the office, later identified as John Carpinto DOB 07/26/1974, entered the store and selected various items valued at $399.86(receipt attached). Mr. Carpinto then proceeded to the back of the store where he concealed the items into his coat. Mr. Carpinto proceeded to the front of the store where he passed all points of purchase, making no attempt to pay for the concealed items. LP then stopped Mr. Carpinto as he attempted to exit the store and escorted him back to the loss prevention office.

I placed Mr. Carpinto under arrest for larceny over $250(C266 S30/A) and he was transported to the Somerville Police station via unit 200. Mr. Carpinto was booked in the proper manner by Lt. Vivolo.
