Open Positions: Five
Term: Three years
The City of Somerville seeks five members for the Mayor’s Appointments Advisory Committee (AAC), and all Somerville residents are invited to apply.
Boards and commissions offer an opportunity for residents with a range of experience, skills, expertise, and perspectives to share their talents and insights with their community.
The AAC makes nonpartisan and informed recommendations for appointments to more than a dozen of the City’s boards and commissions, listed at somervillema.gov/aac. AAC members will review applications, then recommend finalists to the Mayor. The AAC typically meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. New AAC members are appointed by the Mayor.
Applications are due Friday, June 17. To apply, please send a statement of interest to Javier Torres Trinidad at firstname.lastname@example.org or Somerville City Hall Annex, 50 Evergreen Ave., Somerville, MA 02145. Please email Javier or call him at (617) 625-6600 ext. 2406 with questions.
