Rep. Barber’s Driver’s License Bill Passes in House & Senate
BOSTON– After a historic vote in the House of Representatives in February and state Senate in early May, the Work and Family Mobility Act was just voted for final passage in the House and Senate. The bill, filed by Representative Christine Barber of Somerville and Medford, with Rep. Tricia Farley-Bouvier and Senators Brendan Crighton and Adam Gomez, enables all state residents to apply for a standard Massachusetts driver’s license regardless of immigration status. Somerville OPENAIR Circus classes return!
Somerville’s OPENAIR Circus will offer its 39th year of summer classes in circus skills beginning June 27, running through August 7. This year in-person classes will be at Lou Ann David Park on Broadway near Teele Square, in 55 minute time slots Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30-7:30.
