Loving father of Justin Bonner of Medford, Joseph Bonner and his wife Joanna of Derry, NH, Elizabeth Bonner of Revere and Christopher Bonner of Chelsea.
Brother of the late William Drouin.
Dear grandfather of Jack, Alexander, Cameron and Riley.
A Funeral Home Service will be held for John, Wednesday evening at 6:30, in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq,) Somerville.
Relatives and friends invited.
Visiting hours Wednesday, 4:00 – 6:30.
Interment private.
John was a Somerville Firefighter for many years.
Peace be with you always. You were a wonderful friend where I met you while working at W.E. Southborough in 1971. It was our small group of 6, that experienced a real bond and true friendship. Today I was sadly informed of your passing 14 months ago.
I clearly recall the day our small, close knit group got together on a Saturday in Burlington for lunch around 2010.
We should have repeated that day a few times as it was a very special day for all that attended.
