The City is actively seeking applicants for two vacant positions on the Somerville Conservation Commission. Commissioners serve for three years and their work focuses on protecting Somerville’s natural environment by enforcing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act and Rivers Protection Act when necessary. The Commission also oversees the community garden program and aids in open space planning.
